NORFOLK, Va. - The Delaware State Hornets will open MEAC conference play against the Howard Bison in an ESPN televised men’s basketball game this weekend as a part of the conference’s 2024-25 televised schedule. 

The Delaware State at Howard matchup will tip off at 8:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, January 4, on ESPNU. The all-time series is knotted at 15-15  with the Bison riding a seven game win streak.

The last time the two teams met was in the MEAC Basketball Tournament Championship game on March 16. Howard defeated Delaware State 70-67 for their second consecutive MEAC Championship crown.
