NORFOLK, Va., January 23, 2025 – North Carolina A&T State senior Maya Avilez was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowler of the Week, presented by Coca-Cola.
Fellow Aggie Victorya White was named the MEAC Rookie of the Week.
Avilez (Sr., Staten Island, N.Y.) helped the Aggies to a seventh-place team finish at the Northeast Classic where the N.C. A&T State finished with a 10,281 total pin count (205.6 avg.). She ranked first on the week in frames bowled (121), average per frame (21.05) and striking sum percentage (56.6). Avilez also ranked second baker frames bowled (72), overall fill percentage (88.5 percent) and was third in the MEAC all spare conversion percentage (90.7 percent).
White (Fr., Wentzville, Miss.) finished sixth overall at the Northeast Classic en route to the team's seventh-place finish. She averaged 225.20 pins per game while leading the MEAC in average per traditional frame (22.52) and sum fill percentage (90.0 percent). White ranked third on the week in the overall sum average (20.97) and sum striking percentage (54.4 percent).

Madison Colston (UAB) helped the Blazers to a 15
th place team finish at the Northeast Classic while collecting an individual finish of eighth with a 222.40 per game average.
Regina Moreno (UAB) recorded an overall sum average of 18.24 and sum fill percentage of 80.5 percent finishing 78
th at the Northeast Classic.
Cameren Sullivan (HU) averaged 192.80 pins per game while finishing 69
th at the Northeast Classic.
