Michael Vick has now been selected for induction into two Hall of Fame organizations in the span of a week.
Vick has been chosen to be honored and enshrined into the 2025 class of the National High School Football Hall of Fame; the National High School Football Hall of Fame Foundation announced on Wednesday. The ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Zimmerman Symphony Center in Canton, Ohio.
A Newport News native, Vick rose to fame in the Hampton Roads area as the starting quarterback at Warwick High School. He compiled 4,846 yards and 43 touchdowns through the air for the Raiders, adding 1,048 yards and 18 touchdowns on the ground.
One of the top recruits in the state of Virginia, Vick eventually attended Virginia Tech where he became one of the most exciting players in the history of the sport. The National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame selected Vick as a member of the 2025 College Football Hall of Fame Class last week.
The National High School Football Hall of Fame was founded in 2010 by LaMont "ShowBoat" Robinson, a basketball legend and entrepreneur. Its mission is to preserve the history and honor of high school football players, coaches, and contributors.
