BALTIMORE –
Six Eagles scored in double figures as the Coppin State men's basketball team defeated Cheyney University, 88-62 in an Education Day matchup on Thursday morning at PEC Arena.  Coppin moved to 3-16 on the year with the win while the Wolves fell to 2-14.

  • Jonathan Dunn led all players with 16 points and ten rebounds to notch the first double-double of his career.
  • Toby Nnadozie stuffed the stat sheet with 15 points, six rebounds, eight assists, eight steals and a block. 
  • Nnadozie's eight steals are tied for the second-most in CSU single-game history and matches Coppin's NCAA D I era single-game record.  It is also tied for the most by any NCAA Division I player in a game this season.
  • Camaren Sparrow matched Nnadozie with 15 points to go with four assists, three rebounds, two steals and a block.
  • Khali Horton followed with 14 points while Aa'Reyon Munir-Jones and Peter Oduro added 12 and ten points, respectively.
