Howard def. Coppin State - 76-71 

WASHINGTON, DC-- Freshman guard Saniyah King (Washington) scored 15 of her team-high 17 points in the second half and junior forward Nile Miller (Haddonfield, N.J.) added 15 of her career-high 16 points after intermission to lead the Howard University women's basketball to a 76-71 come-from-behind win over Coppin State in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) clash at Burr Gymnasium.

Md. Eastern Shore def SC State - 63-55 

ORANGEBURG, SC — The University of Maryland Eastern Shore never trailed the entire way as the Hawks earned their first MEAC win of the season with a 63-55 road win against South Carolina State. 

Mahogany Lester paced the Hawks with 19 points while adding six rebounds and five assists in the game. Lester's scoring total was a season-high for her while coming within one point of tying her career-high at UMES.

NC Central def. Delaware State - 76-71 

DURHAM, NC-- Kyla Bryant scored 22 points and Jada Tiggett and Morgan Callahan each recorded double-doubles as the Eagles surged late for a 76-71 MEAC women's basketball victory over Delaware State at McDougald-McLendon Arena on Monday. 
 
Tiggett finished with 20 points, 11 rebounds, four blocks and three steals and Callahan added 12 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and two blocks for the Eagles, winners of their second straight game.

Norfolk State def. Morgan State - 77-69 

BALTIMORE, Md. --  The Norfolk State women's basketball team held off Morgan State on the road, picking up the 77-69-win Monday evening at Hill Field House. 
  
Graduate guard Diamond Johnson produced a big game for the Spartans with 24 points, eight steals, seven assists, and five rebounds. Senior forward Kierra Wheeler also posted a big game with 24 points, 13 rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and one steal. 
  
Sophomore guard Da'Brya Clark posted double-figures for the seventh time this season with 12 points.
