FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. --- Graduate guard Diamond Johnson earned BOXTOROW National HBCU Player of the Week honors, the organization announced Monday evening.  
 

Johnson averaged 21.5 points, 4.5 steals, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.5 assists, helping lead the Spartans to a pair of wins last week against Delaware State (94-54) and Coppin State (82-66). She also shot 45.5 percent from three-point range in the two wins.
 

Norfolk State will return to action on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 2 p.m. against Virginia-Lynchburg.
