Ja'Shawn Scroggins (Las Vegas) was selected BOXTOROW HBCU National Player of the Week after his incredible performance in the 32-31 come-from-behind victory over Mercyhurst Saturday (Sept. 7) at Greene Stadium. The announcement came Monday morning.
Scroggins accounted for 279 yards of total offense, throwing for 157 yards while gaining 122 yards on the ground. With only 41 tickets remaining, the Las Vegas native put HU in field goal range where senior kicker

In his first two starts, the dual-threat quarterback has amassed 273 passing yards and 189 rushing yards with one total TD.
Howard goes on the road Saturday, September 14, to take on Morehouse College at 3 p.m., at MetLife Stadium. The game will be broadcast on CNBC.
