NORFOLK, Va., August 30, 2024 – The 2024 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference’s (MEAC) women'scross
-country season began with four MEAC institutions taking their marks on Friday, August 30.
Howard made their season debut at the Mount 5K Duals hosted by Mount St. Marys claiming a second place finish
with four Bison in the top four. Joslyn Crosby clocked a personal best 18:30.37 to place second, while teammate Mira Martin clocked a 19:04.74 time, finishing in third. Jordyn Miller finished in seventh place for a time of 19:29.72. Kendall Robinson crossed the line shortly after with a 19:47.78 finish.
Morgan State competed at the Baltimore Metro Invitational where they placed third collectivly with 116 points. Abigail Fisher led the Bears with a 21:04.26 time.
South Carolina State competed at the CSU Buccaneer XC Open hosted by Charleston Southern University. Jianna Hibbler led her team with a time of 24:58.4.
