BALTIMORE – Coppin State men's basketball head coach Larry Stewart, who enters his second season at the helm of his alma mater, has announced the 2024-25 schedule on Thursday morning, which includes non-conference home games against Rider, Loyola Maryland, Navy and Cheyney, and five games at Power Conference schools.
 
For the second-straight season, all Coppin State home games will be aired live on ESPN+. The Eagles are the only HBCU to have all of their home basketball games on the ESPN Family of Networks. All home games will also be broadcasted on WNST 1570AM as well as wwww.baltimorepositive.com.
 
Season Tickets and Mini-Game Plans are now available for purchase on www.coppinstatesports.com.  Individual Game Tickets will go on-sale on October 1.
 
The non-conference season opens on Monday, November 4 at Wake Forest and ends on Saturday, December 28 at Georgetown before opening MEAC play with back-to-back home games against North Carolina Central on Saturday, January 4 and South Carolina State two nights later.
 
During the conference's bye week, the Eagles host Cheyney, the oldest of all HBCU's in an 11:00 am Education Day on Thursday, January 16.  Coppin welcomes Norfolk State to PEC Arena for Homecoming on Saturday, February 22 and closes the regular season with archrival Morgan State coming across town on Thursday, March 6.
 
The 2025 MEAC Tournament will once again be held at the Norfolk Scope Arena from March 12-15 with the conference champion receiving the conference's automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.
