Delaware State Football Announces the 2024 Schedule

DOVER, Del. – Head Football Coach Lee Hull announced that Delaware State University will open the 2024 season at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, HI on Tuesday. This will break a nearly 50-year stint since an HBCU played Hawaii, making Delaware State the Fifth HBCU to travel to the Island.

The Hornets will play the University of Hawaii on Saturday, Aug. 24, before returning home for the first of five home games against Wagner College on Sept. 14. 

Delaware State will end September by traveling to Campbell University on Sept. 28.

October begins with Homecoming against Saint Francis University on Oct. 5 followed by a three-game road schedule starting with Robert Morris on Oct. 12. The Hornets will open Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play against the Bulldogs at South Carolina State on Oct. 26. 

Delaware State will open up the month of November against Howard the 2023 MEAC Conference champs on Nov. 2. 

The final road game features Norfolk State on Nov. 16 before closing out the 2024 season by hosting, North Carolina Central on Nov. 23.
