NORFOLK, Va., May 10, 2024 --- No. 1 Morgan State will play No. 3 Coppin State for the 2024 Mid-Eastern Athletic Softball Championship title, streamed live Saturday, May 11 at 12 p.m. EST on ESPN+.

Coppin State makes their second straight championship appearance and will face Morgan State, the four-time MEAC regular season champions.

The Eagles are undefeated in the tournament with a 3-0 record including wins over No. 6 Maryland Eastern Shore, No. 2 Howard and No. 4 North Carolina Central.

Morgan State enters with a 3-1 tournament record. After dropping their first game to N.C. Central, MSU ran through the consolation bracket defeating UMES and SCSU, before facing NCCU again in the consolation finals. Morgan State defeated North Carolina Central 5-3 in the consolation finals to secure their placement in the championship game against Coppin State in a 'Battle of Baltimore'.
