NORFOLK, Va. - The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference will host a youth basketball clinic to kick off a week of festivities surrounding the conference’s men’s and women’s basketball tournaments in Norfolk, Virginia. 

The MEAC Basketball Youth Clinic will feature the head coaches from the eight member institutions who will provide tips and tricks of the game, while also running participants through various developmental drills. The MEAC Basketball Youth Clinic will take place at the Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center (1401 Ballentine Blvd. Norfolk, VA 23504) on Monday, March 11. 

Now in its tenth year, the MEAC Basketball Youth Clinic is an annual event that encourages children from the city of Norfolk to participate in basketball and stay active from an early age. This year, the MEAC has partnered with Grand Furniture, which will be giving away a sleeping mattress to one lucky participant. The MEAC Basketball Youth Clinic is one of the many tournament-week events being put on by the MEAC this year.
