WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Eagles of N.C. Central pulled off a thrilling overtime 70-64 victory over the Bison of Howard in their home gymnasium.
The teams traded the lead in each quarter back and forth with North Carolina Central winning the first (15-12), third (21-11), and overtime periods (12-6), while Howard led in the second (18-12) and fourth (17-8) quarters.
Five Eagles recorded double digits led by Kyla Bryant with 14 points. Morgan Callahan recorded a double-double with 12 points and rebounds. Kimeira Burks added 12 points while Janiah Jones and Tippy Robertson added 11 and 10 points respectively.
Howard was led by Janyah Bohanon with 14 points while Tyana Walker added 10 as the only other player in double figures. Nile Miller recorded a career-high 20 rebounds in the contest.

NORFOLK, Va. - The Spartans posted a 60-point victory over the Bulldogs of S.C. State with a final score of 87-25.
NSU used big runs in the first and third quarters to put away the game scoring 22 and 33 points respectively. SCSU was held to only four points in the second and third quarters in the game.
Norfolk State was led by both Diamond Johnson and Kierra Wheeler with 26 points apiece. Wheeler also added 12 rebounds for a double-double and recorded her 1,000th career point in the contest. Anjanae Richardson and Da’Brya Clark added 13 and 12 points respectively as the other top scorers.

Baltimore, Md. - Laila Lawrence recorded a new career-high and NCAA season-high 25 rebounds alongside 16 points to help CSU come from behind to upend Delaware State.
After both teams started off slow in the first, DSU pulled ahead 21-12 at the half after scoring 13 points in the second quarter. Coppin State bounced back in the third and fourth quarters scoring 19 and 22 points to claim the seven-point win, 53-46.
Joining Lawrence as the top scorers for the Eagles was Angel Jones with 13 points and Tiffany Hammond with 10.
Ja-Naiah Perkins-Jackson led the Hornets with 13 points while Denijsha Wilson was close behind with 12 and Savannah Brooks added 10 points.
