FARMVILLE, Va.—The South Carolina State Lady Bears traveled to Farmville, Virginia on Friday afternoon to face William & Mary in a non-conference matchup. 

The Lady Bulldogs fell to William & Mary, 70-65 . Shaunice Reed led South Carolina State with 22 points, while Ali Hardwell added 12 points .

UNC Chapel Hill (ACC) def. Coppin State  72-46

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Tiffany Hammond and Angel Jones scored 12 points apiece and Laila Lawrence posted a double-double as the Coppin State women's basketball team fell at 15th-ranked North Carolina, 72-46 on Sunday afternoon at Carmichael Arena.

The Eagles fell to 6-5 on the year while the Tar Heels improved to 9-1.

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (December 8, 2024) – Junior forward Zennia Thomas (Cleveland) recorded a double-double for the second straight game, but the Howard University women's basketball team fell just short, 55-52, in nonconference play at Hofstra (3-5) at the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex.
 
Redshirt sophomore guard Tyana Walker had her best game of the season, tallying 13 of her team-tying 15 points in the second half on 7-of-15 shooting from the floor.
