MEAC Announces Televised Basketball Games for 2025 Season

Four Regular-Season Matchups to Air on ESPNU

NORFOLK, Va., December 3, 2024 - The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) is thrilled to announce its 2025 basketball television schedule, featuring four regular-season matchups on ESPNU.

The action tips off on Saturday, Jan. 4, with a thrilling championship rematch as defending MEAC champion Howard University hosts 2024 runners-up Delaware State University. The game is set for an 8:00 p.m. tip-off at Burr Gymnasium and will air live on ESPNU.

Later in January, the excitement continues when Howard travels to Norfolk, Va., to face Norfolk State University on Saturday, Jan. 25, at 12:30 p.m. in Echols Hall Arena, also airing on ESPNU.

The third matchup on the schedule features the North Carolina Central Eagles taking on the Norfolk State Spartans in Norfolk. This game will take place on Saturday, Feb. 15, with a 7:00 p.m. start at Echols Hall, live on ESPNU.

The final regular-season televised game will showcase the Norfolk State Lady Spartans and the Howard Lady Bison in a rematch of the 2024 MEAC Women’s Basketball Tournament Championship game. This much-anticipated showdown will air live on ESPNU on Thursday, March 6, at 5:00 p.m. from Washington, D.C.

All games airing on ESPN networks are available for streaming on the ESPN App, providing fans access on computers, smartphones, tablets, and connected devices via their video subscription with an affiliated provider.
The MEAC Basketball Tournament dates and times will be announced at a later time.
