Missouri (SEC) def. Howard – 77-62

COLUMBIA, Mo. (November 8, 2024) – Guard Marcus Dockery (Washington) scored a team-high 14 points and fellow backcourt mate Bryce Harris (Brentwood, N.Y.) added 11 points but no other players reached double figures as the Howard University men's basketball fell, 77-62, to Missouri in a nonconference game at Mizzou Arena.

The Bison (0-2) fell behind early and played catchup through most of the first half and trailed, 40-28, at intermission. With senior guards Dockery and Harris finding some range, the Bison were able to get within striking distance. But the Tigers (1-1) were able to thwart any Howard comeback as Tamar Bates (17), Mark Mitchell (16) and Anthony Robinson II took turns supplying just enough offense to pull away to their first win.
