MEAC Announces Weekly Bowling Honors, presented by Coca-Cola

NORFOLK, Va., November 20, 2024 – North Carolina A&T State freshman Victorya White was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowler of the Week, presented by Coca-Cola. Fellow Aggie Tiana Cruz was named the MEAC Rookie of the Week. 
 
White (Fr., Wentzville, Miss.) helped the Aggies to a fifth-place team finish at the Tulane Colonial Classic where North Carolina A&T State recorded a tournament-best 13,800 total pin count (202.9 avg.). She ranked third on the week in average per frame (21.08), baker average per frame (21.24), overall fill percentage (88.2 percent), and striking sum percentage (53.7).

Cruz (Fr., Daly City, Ca.) helped the Aggies to a fifth-place team finish at the Tulane Colonial Classic where North Carolina A&T State recorded a tournament-best 13,800 total pin count (202.9 avg.). She ranked fifth on the week in average per frame (20.51), fourth in baker average per frame (20.98), sixth in overall fill percentage (85.2 percent), and fifth in striking sum percentage (51.3).

Other Top Performers
  • Madelynn Oliva (UAB) averaged 20.66 pins per fame overall with a fourth-best 87.2% fill percentage.
  • Sydney Allison (HU) averaged 19.26 pins per fame overall totaling 963 pinfall and a 192.6 average.
  • Abigail Brockington (CSU) averaged 17.74 pins per frame with a fill percentage of 73.9%.
