BALTIMORE, Md. - Marcus Banks Jr. had a team-high 14 points to help UMBC defeat Morgan State 92-69 to run the Retrievers to back-to-back wins on Wednesday afternoon at The Peake.
	- Banks, a senior from Hampton, Va., finished with 14 points on 3-of-4 3-point shooting and added six rebounds and two steals in 19 minutes.
- Bryce Johnson and Devan Sapp each scored in double-figures. Johnson had 11 points (4-7 FG) with a game-high six assists, while Sapp added 10 points (5-6 FT) with three boards.
- Senior guard Ahmarie Simpkins scored 14 points of his 16 points in the first half, while adding a game-high 11 rebounds. 
- Wynston Tabbs, who scored 38 points against UMBC last season, was held to 2 points in the first half and finished the game with 16 points on 6-for-14 shooting.
- Junior guard Kiran Oliver (5-6 FG) chipped in 11 points off the bench.

HUNTINGTON, WVa. - Drayton Jones led the attack for the Bulldogs as South Carolina State fell to Marshall on Wednesday evening on the road. 
S.C. State was outscored 46-21 in the first half but were neck and neck in the second half trailing the Thundering Herd 36-32 in scoring.

Little Rock (OVC) def. Maryland Eastern Shore - 78-59
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Evan Johnson led the Hawks offense with 15 points while Jalen Ware and Ketron Shaw each registered seven rebounds. 
UMES trailed by nine points at the half, 40-31, but the gap increased in the second half as Little Rock outscored UMES 38-28 claiming the 78-59 win.
