BUFFALO, N.Y. (Nov. 22, 2024) — In the first meeting between the Bears and Bulls in nearly 30 years, it was a battle until the very end as Buffalo (3-3, 0-0 MAC) held on for an 82-73 win on Friday evening at Alumni Arena. Morgan State men's basketball team (3-4, 0-0 MEAC) fell short on the evening as Buffalo handed them their second straight road loss.
Tyson Dunn led the Bulls with a game-high 22 points as he was 9-for-13 from the floor. He also finished with eight assists, six rebounds and four steals in 33 minutes. Brayden Jackson recorded 18 points (8-11 FG) off the bench, and Ryan Sabon chipped in 12 (3-4 3FG).
Senior Kameron Hobbs scored a season-high 20 points off the bench on Friday evening. Amahrie Simpkins finished with 16 points (7-10 FG), with seven boards and three assists, while Wynston Tabbs chipped in 11 points and five rebounds.

ATLANTA, Ga. – After a strong first half, the North Carolina Central University men's basketball team fell to Georgia State University 93-79 at the GSU Convocation Center on Friday evening. Four Eagles finished in double figures.
NC Central (1-6) got going early clicking on all cylinders as seniors Keishon Porter and Timmy Adedire knocked down threes and junior guard Po'Boigh King went on a 7-0 run by himself. NCCU capitalized off GSU's turnovers as the Panthers couldn't easily break the Eagles' press.
The Maroon and Gray had a 21-11 advantage at the 12-minute media timeout. The lead stretched to 27-12 for the largest of the night for the Eagles.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The South Carolina State Bulldogs picked up a road win against SWAC foe Alabama A&M 82-70 on Friday evening in Huntsville, Ala.
Omar Croskey led the charge with 20 points for SCSU, connecting on 6-of-9 shots from beyond the 3-point arch. Davion Everett added 12 points as the only Bulldog in double-figures.

PHOENIX, Ariz. – Brian Moore Jr. scored 15 of his 17 points in the second half on Friday night, but Norfolk State basketball team couldn't slow down a red-hot shooting night from Grand Canyon in a 91-73 road loss at Global Credit Union Arena.
The Lopes (3-2) knocked down 14 3-pointers on their home floor to keep the Spartans (4-3) from mountain any significant comeback efforts.
Jalen Myers led Norfolk State with a season-best 20 points that included two 3-pointers, while Brian Moore Jr. added 17 points, three rebounds, and three steals.
