NORFOLK, VA – Following a review of additional video footage, the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) has issued an additional suspension related to the post-game altercation that occurred during the Howard University vs. North Carolina Central University football game on Friday, November 15, 2024.
MEAC Commissioner Sonja Stills has announced the suspension of a Howard University assistant football coach for violating MEAC Bylaws. This decision brings the total number of suspensions related to this incident to 37.
As a result, the assistant coach will be prohibited from participating in Howard’s final game of the season, scheduled for Saturday, November 23, against Morgan State University.
The MEAC will not issue further comments on this matter.
