TALLAHASSEE, Fla.Sophomore guard Kyle Bryant dropped a season-high 25 points Monday evening, as the North Carolina Central University women's basketball team fell 119-57 to Florida State in the Donald L. Tucker Center.

The Eagles fell to 0-6 on the season.

Bryant went 9-for-16 from the floor and hit three 3-pointers, while also dishing out four assists and grabbing four rebounds. She was one of three Eagles to score in double figures; freshman guard Shakira Foster added 15 points, while graduate forward Morgan Callahan added 12 points and eight boards.

Callahan and freshman forward Dianna Blake tied for the team high in rebounds.

The Eagles struggled from the floor, shooting 36.7% (22-for-60). N.C. Central went 4-for-12 (33.3%) from behind the arc and 9-for-14 (64.3%) at the free throw line.

Florida State (4-1) shot 52.6% (41-for-78) from the floor and hit 13 of 24 3-pointers (54.2%), while also holding a 40-37 edge on the glass. The Seminoles also turned 28 Eagle turnovers into 41 points and led 56-22 in points in the paint.

Ta'Niya Latson led five Seminoles in double figures with 34 points.

The Eagles will return to action on Thursday, when they head to Vermillion, S.D., to take on South Dakota at 8 p.m. ET.
