PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore improved to 2-0 at home with a one-sided 113-57 win over Gallaudet on Monday night. Kyrell Shaw poured in a season-high 31 points while brother Ketron "KC" Shaw recorded a triple double to highlight the Hawks' high scoring night.

The Hawks jumped out to a 11-3 lead thanks to an early four points from Maurice Vassel and Jose Cuello while holding the Bison to just 1-for-10 shooting during the first four minutes of play.

Kyrell Shaw knocked down three of his first four three pointers and scored a quick 11 points off the bench to help the Hawks extend the lead to 28-9 by the 10:05 mark. The Hawks went on to shoot 60 percent from the field including nine makes from beyond the arc to take control by halftime, 57-22.

Howard def. FIU (CUSA) - 75-70

Miami, FL---Cameron Shockley-Okeke scored all of his career high 21 points in the first half, but it was the clutch scoring of senior guard Marcus Dockery with 16 second half points that proved to be the difference as Howard University downed Florida International University 75-70 in non-conference men's basketball game at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center.

A graduate guard, Shockley was 7 of 8 from the field, 5 of 6 from beyond the arc in the first 20 minutes.  The Bison appeared to go take early control, opening a 30-23 lead at the five-minute mark before the Panthers came storming back with a 12-5 run to tie the game at 35 at the half.
