BALTIMORE, Md. (Nov. 14, 2024) - The Morgan State Lady Bears won in thrilling fashion 64-63 vs Towson at Hill Field House . 
  
Morgan State victory advances them to 3-2 on the young season.  The Bears were led by Deja Bristol and Shariah Baynes who each had 12 points respectively.   Baynes also had 5 steals while Bristol added 8 rebounds.

Ole Miss (SEC) def. Delaware State 80-42 

DOVER, DE --Despite a 60 percent shooting performance from beyond the 3-point arc, the Delaware State women's basketball team fell to the Ole Miss Rebels 80-42 at home Thursday. 

The Hornets (1-3) had two players score in double figures, led by Kiarra Mcelrath, who had 13 points. Mahogany Cottingham tacked on 10 points and two steals and Najah Lane added four points and two steals.

South Carolina (SEC) def. Coppin State 92-60 

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Coppin State's women's basketball team hung in there early with the defending National Champions, but fell to top-ranked South Carolina, 92-60, on Thursday night at Colonial life Arena.  The Eagles fell to 2-2 on the year, while the Gamecocks won their 41st consecutive game to improve to 3-0. 

Laila Lawrence led Coppin with 20 points on 7-of-18 shooting which included a career-high four 3-pointers. She also led the team with seven rebounds and dished out three assists. Angel Jones was also in double figures with 17 points while hitting 8-of-19 from the floor. She added five rebounds and three assists.
