ORANGEBURG SC-- The South Carolina State Bulldogs fell to USC Upstate in a hard fought battle monday evening.
The Bulldogs received key contributions from Angie Jean-justin who finished with 13 points. Jada Morgan added 10 points and 5 rebounds.
South Carolina State will be back in action at Smith-Hammond-Middleton arena friday as they take on Jackson State.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. --- The Norfolk State women's basketball team trailed by just one early in the fourth quarter before falling to No. 22 Alabama 68-58 at Coleman Coliseum Wednesday evening.
Fresh off winning MEAC Defensive Player of the Week, Kierra Wheeler led the Spartans in scoring with a season-high 19 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
Graduate guards Diamond Johnson and Niya Fields also scored double digits with 14 points each. Senior forward Makoye Diawara led the Spartans in rebounds with 10, marking her second game this season with double-digit rebounds.

Buffalo (MAC) def. Md. Eastern Shore - 56-45
Despite a late surge by the Hawks, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore fell at home to the University at Buffalo on Wednesday night.
Zamara Haynes led the Hawks with 19 points and eight rebounds against the Bulls, adding three steals. Lainey Allen collected five rebounds, one block and two steals while Ashanti Lynch paced UMES with four steals.

Howard def. Mt. St. Mary's (MAAC) - 39-35
EMMITSBURG, Md. (November 13, 2024) – Graduate guard Destiny Howell (Queens, N.Y.) was the only scorer to reach double figures, but her game-high 11 points were just enough to help the Howard University women's basketball team squeeze past Mount St. Mary's (MSM), 39-35, in a low-scoring affair at Knotts Arena.
Howell got just enough support from teammates junior forwards Zennia Thomas (six points & five rebounds) and Nile Miller (six points) and freshman guard Saniyah King (four points, three assists & two steals) to secure the victory.

DURHAM, NC-- The North Croliona Central Eagles fall to 0-5 after falling at home vs Charleston Wedsnday evening.
The Eagles were led by Morgan Callahan who finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds and Kyla Bryant contributed 10 points on the evening.
