WASHINGTON, D.C. – Howard volleyball posted their 10th consecutive win Sunday afternoon in Burr gym with a 25-13, 25-19, 25-9 victory over North Carolina Central.
The feat moves the Bison to 16-5 on the season, 9-0 in conference while the Eagles fall 5-15 overall and 3-6 in conference.
Howard was led by Rya Mckinnon who recorded 17 kills on the evening. The Bison also received key contributions from Dami Awojobi who added 10 kills and five blocks, and Aziah Buckner who finished the evening with seven kills.

Coppin State def. Maryland Eastern Shore 3-0
BALTIMORE, Md. – Ezgi Kucuk recorded a team-high 12 kills to lead the Coppin State volleyball team to a 3-0 (25-20, 25-14, 25-15) victory over Maryland Eastern Shore on Sunday afternoon.
The Eagles improved to 11-14 on the year and 7-2 in the MEAC while the Hawks fell to 9-11 overall and 4-5 in league play.
Coppin will be on the road for three-straight conference matches, starting with South Carolina State on November 1 and NC Central on November 3.

DOVER, Del. – Delaware State volleyball defeated the Morgan State Bears in an intense five-set match on Sunday.
Gerren Tomlin led the Hornets with 16 kills, while Naz Tuncay orchestrated the offense with 25 assists. Aaliyah Mitchell anchored the defense with three blocks to led the way for the Hornets defense.

NORFOLK, Va. - In one of the best defensive performances this season, the Norfolk State volleyball team defeated South Carolina State in straight sets at home on Sunday for Homecoming.
The Spartans (10-12, 4-5 MEAC) held the Bulldogs (3-16, 1-6 MEAC) to the third lowest attacking percentage (.044) and most attacking errors committed by opponents (26) of the season.
