BALTIMORE, Md. -
Slow and steady was the key to victory for the Bison who won by 15 points over the Eagles. 

Howard led by only five points at the halftime break, 40-35, but increased their lead to 15 at the end of regulation to win 81-66.

A herd of Bison scored in double digits led by Bryce Harris with 18 points and 15 rebounds. Marcus Dockery added 15 points while Seth Towns was only a point behind with 14. Isaiah Warfield and Dom Campbell both recorded 11 points in the contest.

Rookie Ryan Archey led the Eagles with 20 points. Justin Winston made his way back into the line up and put 12 points on the board while Camaren Sparrow added 11 points and was a rebound shy of a double-double.

North Carolina Central 69, Delaware State 66
DOVER, Del. -
A late attempt by the Hornets fell short as Eagles used foul trouble to their advantage for the 69-66 win.

Po’Boigh King and Ja’Darius Harris led North Carolina Central with 22 and 21 points respectively. Fred Cleveland, Jr. joined them in double figures with 11 points. 

Jevin Muniz led Delaware State with 24 points while Khyrie Staten added 11 points as the only other Hornet in double digits. Martaz Robinson got into foul trouble early and played sparingly throughout the remainder of the game ending with a season low two points.

Norfolk State 83, Morgan State 73
NORFOLK, Va. - Consistent play and a 12-point halftime lead helped the Spartans collect an 83-73 victory over the Bears of Morgan State.

Tyrel Bladen, Allen Betrand and Jamarii Thomas led Norfolk State with 17 points, 16 points, and 14 points respectively. 

Wynston Tabbs put together a 21 point performance against Norfolk State in the loss with teammates Will Thomas and Allen Udemadu both recording 15 apiece. Udemadu added 10 rebounds for a double-double.

South Carolina State 63, Maryland Eastern Shore 53
PRINCESS ANNE, Md. -
A big second half push by the Bulldogs gave way to a 63-53 road win for South Carolina State. 

After starting the game trailing by six, 30-24, at the half, S.C. State came out of the break to score 39 second half points while holding the Hawks to 23 to come from behind and claim victory.

Michael Teal led the way with 12 points for the Bulldogs while Davion Everett and Mitchell Taylor both tallied 10 points. Everett recorded a double double with 12 boards to go with his 10 points. 

Devon Ellis was the lone Hawk to score in double figures with 13 points while Troy Hupstead brought down 11 boards.
