BALTIMORE, Md. - The Morgan State softball team opened up the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) season in perfect fashion against rival Coppin State, as Anaya Hunte recorded the program's second perfect game in a 3-0 victory in the league opener at CSU Softball Field. The Lady Bears would then complete the doubleheader sweep with a 9-1 victory in five innings in Game 2.
Morgan State (11-11, 2-0 MEAC), which ended a two-game losing skid, extended its winning streak to seven straight over Coppin State. The Eagles fell to 2-11 overall, 0-2 in the MEAC and have dropped a season-long nine straight.

DOVER, Del. - Uxua Lopez smacked a three-run home run in the bottom of the third inning to highlight Delaware State's 4-3 victory over Maryland-Eastern Shore in game one of a doubleheader to open Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) play for each team today.
The Hawks bounced back to win game two 1-0 on a five-hit shutout by Ameenah Ballenger, who also knocked in the only run of the game.

NORFOLK, Va. – The Howard University softball put on a show for the cameras, picking up its eighth win of the season.
The Bison started the conference slate off strong, defeating Norfolk State (NSU), 7-4, in front of a nationally televised audience on ESPN+, but falling short, 9-1, in game two.
The Bison are 8-14 (1-1 MEAC) on the season while the Spartans move to 9-11 (1-1 MEAC).
