With an 80-59 win over Maryland Eastern Shore Monday evening in Burr Gymnasium, defending MEAC champion Howard picked up its fifth straight win and got back to .500 on the season.

The Bison are now 11-11 on the campaign, 7-2 in MEAC play.

Destiny Howell led the way with 25 points, going 8-for-14 from the floor and hitting all four of her 3-point attempts. Aziah Hudson dropped 15 points for the second straight game, while Nyla Cooper chipped in 11 points off the bench.

Morgan State 69, South Carolina State 48

ORANGEBURG, S.C. --
Ja'Niah Henson led three Morgan State players in double figures with 15 points Monday evening in Smith-Hammnod-Middleton, as the Lady Bears remained undefeated in MEAC play with a 69-48 win over South Carolina State.

Morgan State (16-6, 9-0 MEAC) has won nine straight games.

Henson went 6-for-11 from the floor in netting her team-high 15 points. Jael Butler and Charlene Shepherd each added 14 points, whilel Taylor Addison added a team-high 11 rebounds and four steals.

Norfolk State 70, Delaware State 42

NORFOLK, Va. -- 
Norfolk State shot nearly 54 percent from the floor and 53 percent from beyond the 3-point line as the Spartans rolled to a 70-42 lopsided victory over Delaware State to complete the MEAC sweep on Monday night at Joseph G. Echols Memorial Hall.
 
Norfolk State (19-5 overall, 7-2 MEAC) led 14-2 after one quarter and took a commanding 32-13 advantage into the second half. The Hornets (4-16, 2-7), who went 0-for-10 from the floor in the first period, could not recover from the huge deficit in the conference loss.
 
Camille Downs led Norfolk State with 19 points, seven rebounds, four assists and four steals. Niya Fields and Crystal White each poured in nine points as the Spartans were 29-of-54 shooting. Fields also added a team-high nine assists.

North Carolina Central 67, Coppin State 54

DURHAM, N.C. -- 
Redshirt sophomore Aniya Finger recorded a double-double and redshirt junior Tianna Carter was one rebound shy of her own double-double as North Carolina Central rolled to a 67-54 victory over Coppin State on Monday evening inside McDougald-McLendon Arena.
 
Carter scored a team-high 14 points and Finger followed with 12 points. The Eagles finished with a dominating 53-38 rebounding advantage with Finger pulling down a game-high 10 rebounds and Carter corralling nine boards. The +15 rebounding advantage is NCCU's best margin in conference play this season.
 
Redshirt sophomore Morgan Callahan also continued her consistent play down low, finishing with six points and seven rebounds. Senior Kira Lowery highlighted play for NCCU's perimeter players with 12 points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals.

Freshman Jerni Kiaku followed with eight points, five assists and four rebounds.
