Jacksonville State got out to an early lead pulling ahead 21-6 in the first quarter. The Gamecocks continued to increase their lead adding 17 points in the second quarter while the Bulldogs posted 13 to put the score at 38-19 at the break. S.C. State added 22 points in the second half while only giving up 17 but the rally was not enough to topple the Gamecocks who won 55-41.
The Bulldogs were led by Morgan Beacham with 12 points while Jada Morgan was close behind with 10. Beacham tallied four rebounds while Morgan and Jayah Hicks each added five.

Nebraska 91 (Big-10), South Carolina State 62
The Huskers dominated the first half of action against the Bulldogs putting up 50 points while holding S.C. State to just 11 in the first 20 minutes. South Carolina State rebounded in the second half putting up 51 of their own points. Unfortunately, the Huskers added 41 second half points to put the final score at 91-62.
Jordan Simpson led the Bulldogs with 17 points shooting 7-of-11 from the field. Michael Teal and Raquan Brown added 11 and 10 points respectively as the top three scorers for S.C. State. Davion Everett led the team with eight rebounds while Brown was next with seven.

Buffalo 70 (MAC), Maryland Eastern Shore 61
The Bulls led the Hawks in the first quarter holding a five-point lead, 19-14. Maryland Eastern Shore closed the gap to one point, trailing 30-29 at the half, after going on a 15-11 run. UMES put 16 points on the board in both the third and fourth quarters while Buffalo added 19 and 21 points respectively as the Bulls held on for the 70-61 win.
Mya Thomas led the Hawks with 16 points with four assists and four rebounds. Mahogany Lester and Ariana Seawell each contributed 11 points while Seawell and Lainey Allen both collected 10 rebounds apiece.

Howard 75, American 57 (Patriot)
Howard led American by three points at the end of the first quarter 15-12, but the Eagles held a three-point lead over the Bison at the halftime buzzer putting the score tied at 31 all. Howard rallied in the second half putting up 26 points in the third quarter while adding 18 in the fourth to pull away and take the 75-57 victory.
Kaiya Creek led the Bison with 17 points and six rebounds. Nile Miller added 14 points while Iyanna Warren contributed 12.

Loyola – Md. 66 (Patriot), Delaware State 64
Delaware State put together a strong first quarter jumping out to a 21-10 lead over the Greyhounds of Loyola Md. Loyola closed the gap a little bit putting 18 points on the board while the Hornets added 16 to lead 37-28 at the half. DSU added another strong quater in the third adding 22 points to their total while holding Loyola to 15 pulling ahead even further, 59-43 at the end of three quarters. The Greyhounds shut down the Hornets in the fourth as DSU only scored five points while Loyola added 23 to catch up and claim the won, 66-64.
DSU was led by Kiarra MceIrath with 18 points while Tyshonne Tollie added 16 to the teams total. Denijsha Wilson was nearly in double digits with nine points.

Delaware State 77, Mount St. Mary’s 73 (MAAC)
The Mountaineers got off to a hot start taking a 41-33 lead into halftime. The Hornets flipped the script in the second half putting 44 points on the board while holding Mount Saint Mary’s to 32 points. The Hornets emerged victorious claiming the 77-73 win.
Martaz Robinson led Delaware State with 20 points going 6-of-14 from the field and a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line. Jevin Muniz added 18 points in the game with 12 coming at the charity stripe, while Deywilk Tavarez was the last Hornet in double-figures with 12 points and a team-high eight rebounds.

George Washington 69 (A-10), Maryland Eastern Shore 63
The Hawks held a slim lead at the end of the first half with a 34-32 advantage over the Revolutionaries. George Washington went on a 37-29 run in the second half to pull ahead and claim the 69-63 victory.
Troy Hupstead led the Hawks with 25 points and nine rebounds while shooting 10-of-21 from the field. Devon Ellis added 16 points and eight rebounds while Chace Davis rounded out the top scorers with 11 points.

Howard 71, La Salle 66 (A-10)
The teams sat even at 36 all at the halfway point. The Bison came out in the second half and just edged ahead of the Explorers 35-30 in the final 20 minutes to claim the win 71-66.
Marcus Dockery led the Bison against the Explorers with 21 points shooting 7-of-11 from the field. 5-of seven from three-point range and 2-of-2 from the charity stripe. Bryce Harris and Seth Towns both recorded double-doubles in the game putting up 18 points apiece with Harris bringing down 13 rebounds and Towns 12.
