Howard got out to an early lead over Regent taking a 41-17 heading into halftime. The Bison led the Royals in the second half 47-32 to claim the 88-49 victory.  

Seth Towns and Bryce Harris led the Bison with 11 points each while Isiah Warfield and Dom Campbell added 10 points apiece. Towns led the team with five rebounds.

Stony Brook 84 (CAA), Norfolk State 78 

The Spartans led the first half holding a slim four-point lead, 39-35, over the Seawolves of Stony Brook. The second half saw Stony Brook lead Norfolk State 49-39 pulling ahead on the scoreboard to claim an 84-78 win. 

Jamarii Thomas led the Spartans with 28 points shooting 9-of-11 from the field, 5-of-6 from three points range, and 5-of-6 from the free throw line. Allen Betrand tallied 13 points while Christian Ings rounded out the top scorers with 11 points.

Women’s Scores 

Cincinnati 87 (Big 12), Howard 62 

Cincinnati held the lead throughout the first half scoring 24 points in the first quarter and 19 in the second while only allowing Howard to score 13 points in each quarter. The Bison closed the gap in the third quarter trailing the Bearcats by one, 22-21, but Cincinnati pulled away again in the fourth quarter outscoring Howard 22-15 to win the game 87-62. 

Iyanna Warren led the Bison with 11 points shooting 5-of-11 from the field. Nile Miller and Nyla Cooper both tallied 10 points, while Miller and Janyah Bohanon both collected five rebounds apiece.
