The Dolphins led the Eagles in the first quarter 14-7 but a 23-16 second quarter for N.C. Central evened the score at 30 all as the teams entered halftime. The Eagles took the lead in the third quarter after putting up 23 points and holding the Dolphins to 19 points putting the score at 53-49 heading into the final ten minutes. The fourth quarter saw Jacksonville outscore N.C. Central 21-14 putting the final tally at 70-67.
Kyla Bryant led the Eagles with 26 points and eight rebounds. Tippy Robertson and Jada Tiggett joined Bryant in double-digits with 11 and 10 points respectively.

South Carolina State 86, Jacksonville 85 (ASUN)
The Dolphins led the Bulldogs after the first half ended 40-32. SCSU bounced back in the second half to outscore JU 48-40 to tie the score at 80 and force overtime. In the overtime period, South Carolina State edged out Jacksonville 6-5 to win by one points 86-85.
MIcheal Teal led the Bulldogs with 17 points. Caleb McCarty and Mitchell Taylor both tallied 14 points while McCarty brought down as many rebounds as he scored points for a double-double. Shaman Alston and Atiba Taylor added 11 and 10 points respectively.

Penn held a slim three-point lead over Howard at the halftime break with the score sitting at 39-36. The Quakers added another 39 points in the second half putting their final total at 78 points while the Bison scored 32 points to put their score at 68.
Seth Towns led the Bison with16 points and six rebounds. Marcus Dockery added 15 points while both Jelani Williams and Bryce Harris both added 10 points apiece.
