DURHAM, N.C. – North Carolina Central University has jumped to No. 7 in the FCS top-25 polls, the Eagles' highest national ranking as a NCAA Division I-FCS program, the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) and Stats Perform announced on Monday.
NCCU owns an 8-1 overall record, including a 7-0 mark again FCS foes, with the lone setback against nationally-ranked FBS opponent, UCLA.
The Eagles visit the nation's capital on Saturday, Nov. 11, to confront Howard University with the MEAC championship on the line. Kickoff at 3:30 p.m., live on ESPNU.
