Delaware State battled with Lamar in an overtime contest. The Cardinals held a slim lead over the Hornets in the first half, 40-34. DSU countered in the second half with a 39-33 performance to tie the score and force overtime. Lamar put 11 points on the board in OT just enough points to outlast the eight from Delaware State and claim the win.
Martaz Robinson led the Hornets with a double-double of 27 points and 11 rebounds, all defensive boards. Raymond Somerville contributed 19 points and seven rebounds, while Deywilk Tavarez and Jevin Muniz added 13 and 12 points respectively.

Coppin State fell to La Salle 81-62 in Philadelphia, Pa. After a close first half that saw the halftime score reach 34-27 with La Salle in the lead, the Explorers used a big second half push of 47 points to out do the Eagles who added 35 points in the second half.
Greg Spurlock led CSU with 15 points while Camaren Sparrow and Zahree Harrison both added 14 points apiece.

North Carolina Central 70, Coastal Carolina 58 (Sun Belt)
A pair of 21-point performances from Ja’Darius Harris and Po’Boigh King added the Eagles in their 70-58 victory over the Chanticleers of Coastal Carolina. NCCU opened the game with a 38-point first half and added 32 in the second while N.C. Central held CCU to only 21 first-half points.
Fred Cleveland, jr., joined Harris and King in double-figures with 18 points. King led the team with nine rebounds.

Towson 67 (CAA), Morgan State 58
The Bears of Morgan State fell to the Tigers of Towson 67 to 58 in Towson, Md. MSU recorded 29 points in both halves while Towson used a 41-point first half to propel themselves to victory.
Kamron Hobbs led the Bears with 11 points while Amahrie Simpkins added 10. Simpkins tied for the team lead in rebounds with six alongside Kiran Oliver who also had six rebounds.
