MEAC Announces Weekly Bowling Honors, presented by Coca-Cola

NORFOLK, Va., Nov. 3, 2023 — Delaware State junior Emily Breidegam was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowler of the Week, presented by Coca-Cola, the conference office announced today. University of Alabama Birmingham freshman Madison Colston was named the MEAC Rookie of the Week.  
  
Breidegam (Jr., Reading, Pa.) placed 28th at 2023 Destination Orlando tournament, hosted by Sacred heart in Orlando, Fla. She averaged 204.80 for the weekend while helping the Hornets collect a total pin score of 12,277 and an average of 183.2. For the weekend, she averaged 20.13 pins per frame, had a 49.3 strike percentage and averaged 9.03 pins on first ball. In Baker play, she averaged 19.93 pins per frame while she averaged 20.48 pins per frame in Tradition play. Breidegam recorded an 83.6 fill percentage. 

Colston (Fr., Pinellas Park, Fla.) helped the Blazers to a tenth-place finish at the 2023 Destination Orlando tournament, hosted by Sacred heart in Orlando, Fla. UAB picked up a win over Emmanuel in traditional action, while defeating Florida A&M and St. Francis in baker games. On the weekend, she averaged 19.95 pins per frame, had a 50.7 strike percentage and averaged 9.06 pins on first ball. In Baker play, she averaged 19.62 pins per frame and the weekend saw her record an 80.1 fill percentage.

Morgan Davis (Monmouth)
averaged 19.77 pins per frame over the weekend helping the Hawks to an 11th place team finish at the 2023 Destination Orlando tournament. She recorded an average pin fall of 19.77 on the weekend and collected a fill percentage of 88.0. Davis led the Hawks with a 30th-place individual finish.
