Riding the momentum from set one, Norfolk State cruised to a 25-18 victory in set two as the team held about a six-point lead throughout.
Set three was neck and neck through most of the set, but momentum shifted in favor of the Bears as Morgan State won set three 25-21. The Bears went on a 9-5 run to close out the third set. The fourth set saw ten draws in the score, the last at 19 all, but a three-point run for the Spartans gave NSU just enough momentum to hold off the Bears and win set four 25-23.
