Delaware State 58, South Carolina State 49
ORANGEBURG, S.C. -- The Delaware State women's basketball team earned a 58-49 MEAC win over South Carolina State University on Monday.
Freshman guard Savannah Brooks ensured the Hornets' win by way of a new season-high 18 points. Brooks shot 7-of-12 from the field, including a pair of 3-pointers, while also draining a pair of free throws. She finished off the game with five rebounds, two steals, one block and one assist.
Tyshonne Tollie and Deyonce Thompson joined Brooks with double-digit point perfomrances of their own. Tolle finished with 11, while Thompson finished with 10.

Howard 62, Coppin State 58
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Destiny Howell led three Bison in double figures with 20 points Monday evening in Burr Gymnasium as Howard bounced back with a 62-58 win over Coppin State.
Howard improved to 7-11 overall and 3-2 in MEAC play on the season.
Howell's 20 points came on eight field goals, and she also grabbed seven rebounds, four assists and two steals. Aziah Hudson added 14 points and six rebounds, while Brooklyn Fort-Davis chipped in 10 points.

Morgan State 57, Norfolk State 46
BALTIMORE, Md. -- The Morgan State Lady Bears welcomed league leader Norfolk State to Hill Field House on Monday for an early afternoon MEAC contest at Hill Field House.
The visiting Spartans, who were riding a seven-game winning streak, entered the contest unbeaten in its previous four MEAC games, while Morgan State was unbeaten in its three league games.
Ja'Niah Henson scored a game-high 20 points and Charlene Shepherd recorded a game-high 17 rebounds to go with 17 points, as Morgan State handed Norfolk State (16-4, 4-1 MEAC) its first MEAC loss of the season, following a 57-46 victory.

North Carolina Central 82, Maryland Eastern Shore 77
DURHAM, N.C. -- Five Eagles scored in double figures Monday evening in McDougald-McLendon Arena, and North Carolina Central moved to above .500 in MEAC play with a 82-77 win over Maryland Eastern Shore.
NCCU improved to 9-11 overall and 3-2 in MEAC play.
Kimeira Burks dropped 20 points, hitting five 3-pointers, while Jerni Kiaku added 15 points. Kimia Carter (14), Nia Ford (13) and Kira Lowery (11) were also in double figures.
