PRINCESS ANNE, Md. -- Delaware State earned a 68-60 MEAC victory over Maryland Eastern Shore on Saturday.
The Hornets were led by senior guard Alexis Moragne, who scored a game-high 21 points powered by a game-best five 3-pointers. Moragne was a perfect 6-for-6 from the charity stripe.
Savannah Brooks, Jessica Martino and Tyshonne Tollie all chipped in with eight points each.

Morgan State 61, Coppin State 49
BALTIMORE, Md. -- Charlene Shepherd knocked down 11 of Morgan State's 24 baskets to score a game-high 27 points and had eight rebounds, while Sunshine McCrae added 12 points and seven rebounds, as visiting Morgan State defeated crosstown rival Coppin State 61-54 in a MEAC contest at the Physical Education Complex.
Taylor Addison pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds to go with six points and a team-high two blocks and Sedayjha Payne recorded seven rebounds and six points, to help Morgan State improve to 46-43 all-time against the Eagles.
The win was the Lady Bears' 11th in the last 12 meetings against Coppin State.

Norfolk State 64, Howard 37
NORFOLK, Va. -- Kierra Wheeler scored 21 points to lead three Norfolk State players in double figures as the Spartans started slow, but used a big first-half run to pull away from Howard 64-37 on Saturday in a MEAC contest at Joseph G. Echols Memorial Hall.
The Spartans (15-3, 3-0 MEAC) surrendered the first five points of the game, but responded with a 12-5 run to close out the opening quarter and outscored the Bison 21-5 in the second period before taking a 33-15 advantage into the break.
Wheeler finished with a double-double, with a game-high 21 points, on 7-of-12 shooting, along with 13 rebounds, three steals and one blocked shot. Camille Downs added 11 points, including a pair of 3-pointers, eight boards, three assists and a pair of steals, while Makoye Diawara tallied 10 points, three boards and one steal.

North Carolina Central 72, South Carolina State 55
DURHAM, N.C. -- Freshman guard Jerni Kiaku scored a season-high 25 points to pace North Carolina Central in a 72-55 MEAC win over South Carolina State on Saturday afternoon inside McDougald-McLendon Arena.
Kiaku had a hot hand for the Eagles, swishing eight of her 10 field goal attempts (80%) and nine of her 10 free throw attempts (90%) on the way to her highest scoring game of her rookie campaign yet. Kiaku, who also had three assists and three rebounds in NCCU's league home opener, has scored in double digits in 12 of her first 18 collegiate contests, including her last six games.
NCCU (7-11, 1-2 MEAC) earned its first league victory of the season and improved to 5-3 at home.
