DOVER, Del. -- The Delaware State women's volleyball team picked up a pair of wins over Quinnipiac and Hartford by scores of 3-0, 3-0 to conclude the Delaware State Invitational on Saturday.
Offensively against Quinnipiac, Alondra Maldonado led Delaware State with eight kills and one assist for a team-high 10 points. Malgorzata Andersohn handed out a game-high 16 assists and landed three service aces.
Sydney Lewis and Karen Cordero chipped in with six kills each, while Alayna Lacy dished out seven helpers.
Defensively, Jasmal Cruz dug the Hornets out of nine Bobcat attack attempts.

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. -- Maryland Eastern Shore was all gas and no brakes against visiting Manhattan College on Saturday for the final match of the Henson Hawk Invitational. In resounding fashion, the Hawks swept the Jaspers in three straight sets, 25-11, 25-12, 25-19 to notch their second victory of the season.
Derionah Abner was named as the All-Tournament recipient for the Hawks.
