CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Eagles of North Carolina Central University and the Tar Heels of the University of North Carolina will meet on the gridiron for the first time on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, in Chapel Hill.
 
Wednesday's announcement by UNC expressed that the matchup will serve as an opportunity to celebrate the extraordinary accomplishments of HBCUs and their football programs.
