BALTIMORE, Md. – Morgan State wrapped up its series finale against North Carolina Central on Sunday by earning a 6-1 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) victory over the Eagles to claim the 2022 MEAC regular-season title.

In what was already a special day with Morgan State honoring its four seniors on Senior Day and the unveiling of the 2021 MEAC Championship banner ceremony prior to Sunday's contest, the Lady Bears added to it by breaking the school record for wins in a season with 29. The previous mark of 28 wins was set by the 2018 team. Morgan State also ended the conference slate with 18 league victories, the most in school history, passing the 1998 squad which went 16-0 in MEAC play.
