NORFOLK, Va. – A walk-off and a run-rule game saw the Norfolk State softball team close out a MEAC series with a doubleheader win over Delaware State on Sunday. Prior to the start of game one, six Spartan seniors were honored for their contributions to the softball program over the past few years.

Howard 6, Maryland Eastern Shore 1
 
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Howard University softball team defeated Maryland Eastern Shore in Sunday's rubber match, 6-1, at the Washington Nationals Youth Academy in southeast D.C.
 
With the victory, HU improved to 23-20 (14-4 MEAC) while the Hawks dropped to 14-29 (11-7 MEAC) on the season.
 
Graduate Analise De La Roca set the tone, going 6.2 innings while allowing only three hits in her 12^th win of the year.

North Carolina Central 9, Coppin State 3
 
CARY, N.C. – Senior catcher Madison Mifsud collected three hits and drove in four runs to lead the North Carolina Central University softball team to a 9-3 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) home victory over Coppin State University on Sunday at Thomas Brooks Park.
 
Mifsud's big performance included a hit a go-ahead, three-run home run as NCCU won the rubber game of the series.
 
NCCU honored its Senior Class before first pitch, including Mifsud, first baseman Madison Webb and outfielder/second baseman Diamond Porter.

Morgan State 7, South Carolina State 1
 
ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The Morgan State softball team completed the series sweep of South Carolina State on Sunday with a 7-1 win at Bulldogs Field. With the win, MSU improved to 26-13 overall and 15-3 in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play, while SC State fell to 3-34, 2-16.
