Four MEAC Bowlers Earn NTCA All-America Honors

2021-22 NTCA All-Americans and Awards


Four bowlers from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) have earned All-America honors for the 2021-22 season, as announced by the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) on Thursday. In addition, Morgan State head coach Thomas Falbo earned one of the NTCA's psotseason honors.

MEAC champion North Carolina A&T State boasts three All-Americans, led by First Team All-MEAC honoree and MEAC Bowling Championship Outstanding Performer Lauren Tomaszewski, who earned First Team honors. MEAC Bowler of the Year Melanie Katen and First Team All-MEAC honoree Ericka Quesada were both named Third Team All-American, as was Brooke Roberts of Maryland Eastern Shore.

Roberts was a First Team All-MEAC honoree this season.

Falbo was one of three coaches to be named Division I Coach of the Year, along with Stephen F. Austin's Amber Lemke and Vanderbilt's John Williamson. He led the Lady Bears to 66 wins in the regular season, a fifth-place fiinsh in the MEAC Bowling Championship and a No. 19 national ranking in the NTCA Top 25 Coaches Poll at the conclusion of regular-season play.
