NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State softball team swept Friday’s twin bill against North Carolina Central on Friday. The Spartans edged out the Eagles in game one, 5-2 live on ESPNU, and posted a 3-1 victory in the nightcap.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Howard University softball team improved to 19-19 on the season and 10-3 in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) play after taking a doubleheader from South Carolina State on Friday. The Bison won 13-5 and 8-0, both in five innings, to wrap up the series victory.

BALTIMORE, Md. - Delaware State scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning in a come-from-behind 5-4 victory over Coppin State in game one of a doubleheader on Friday.

Coppin State won the second game 13-3.
