NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- Delaware State sophomore Saralyne Nassberg and freshman Sydney Reardon have been named to the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) Northeast All-Region Team as announced earlier Wednesday.
Nassberg was named to the Second Team, while Reardon picked up Honorable Mention honors.
Nassberg, a one-time Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowler of the Week, was also named First Team All-MEAC at the conclusion of the regular season. In 662 total frames, she recorded an average of 20.29 per frame while also notching a strike 50.8% of the time.
Reardon, the MEAC Rookie of the Year and three-time MEAC Rookie of the Week during the 2021-22 season. She averaged 197.26 pins in traditional play this season. She recorded a frame average of 19.72 and hit at least nine pins on the first ball nearly 70% of the time in the 282 traditional frames she bowled. During Baker play, Reardon recorded a 20.1 pins-per-frame average knocking down 8.93 pins on her first ball. She tallied 392 total strikes in 806 total frames bowled this season.
