North Carolina A&T State Draws La. Tech for NCAA Bowling Championship

After winning its second straight Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) bowling championship this past Sunday, North Carolina A&T State will compete in the NCAA Bowling National Championship, beginning with regional play against Louisiana Tech.

The Aggies, No. 5 in the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) Top 25 poll, will compete in the Arlington Regional. In addition to first-round opponent Louisiana Tech, the regional will also feature Stephen F. Austin and No. 4 overall seed Sam Houston State.

A&T's match will be at 9 a.m. on Friday, April 8.

Regional play will be held Friday-Saturday, April 8-9, with the winners of the four regions advancing to the national championship in Columbus, Ohio on April 15-16. The entire tournament will be double-elimination, Mega Match format.

McKendree is the tournament's top seed, with defending national champion Nebraska the No. 2 seed.
