MEAC Announces Women’s Bowling Academic Honors

NORFOLK, Va., March 23, 2022—The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) has announced the 2022 Women’s Bowling All-Academic selections, honoring 41 student-athletes from the conference’s nine bowling-playing institutions who have achieved academic success.

MEAC sophomore, junior and senior student-athletes with a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average (GPA), as well as transfer student-athletes who have been in residence at the institution for at least one year, are eligible for All-Academic accolades.

“Congratulations to our women’s bowling All-Academic student-athletes,” MEAC Commissioner Sonja Stills said. “As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Title IX and the opportunities it has presented to women, it’s important to remember those opportunities extend beyond the realm of competition. These young ladies are not only excellent athletes, they are also outstanding students.”
