Coppin State 67, Delaware State 55
BALTIMORE, Md. -- Coppin State's Mossi Staples erupted for 18 points in the second half to lead the Eagles to a 67-55 victory over Delaware State on Monday night at PEC Arena.
With the victory, Coppin now stands at 15-11 overall with a 9-4 mark in the MEAC.
A redshirt sophomore from Fort Washington, Md., Staples finished with 20 points, seven assists and six steals. Staples' seven assists and six steals both matched career highs and it was her fourth game of the season with at least 20 points.
Aliyah Lawson was also in double figures, recording 13 points to go with five rebounds and four assists while Jewel Watkins notched her first career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds to go with three assists and a pair of steals.

Howard 65, South Carolina State 48
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Double-doubles from Brooklyn Fort-Davis and Krislyn Marsh led Howard to its seventh straight win on Monday, a 64-48 defeat of South Carolina State in Burr Gymnasium.
With the win, the Bison improved to 17-8 overall and 11-2 in MEAC play. Howard has clinched at least a share of the MEAC regular-season title and can clinch outright on Thursday with a win over Norfolk State.
Fort-Davis led the way with 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Marsh added 12 points and 11 boards.
Nicole Gwynn had 17 points for the Bulldogs (4-23, 4-9 MEAC).

Morgan State 62, Maryland Eastern Shore 60
BALTIMORE, Md. -- Ja'Niah Henson led four Bears in double figures with 16 points Monday eveing in Hill Field House as Morgan State hung on to defeat Maryland Eastern Shore 62-60.
The Bears won their third straight and improved to 16-7 overall, 10-3 in MEAC play.
Jayla Atmore joined Henson in double figures with 12 points, while Adia Brisker came off the bench to chip in 11 points and a team-high seven boards. Taylor Addison was also in double figures with 10 points.
Brooklyn Bailey led UMES (10-15, 6-7 MEAC) with 12 points.

Norfolk State 71, North Carolina Central 63
NORFOLK, Va. -- Camille Downs put up another stat sheet-stuffing performance on Monday as the Spartans beat North Carolina Central 71-63.
Downs led the team in points (22), rebounds (10), and steals (6), while Deja Francis added 20 points and five assists.
The win improved Norfolk State to 14-10 overall, 10-3 in the MEAC.
