DOVER, Del., Dec. 5, 2022 -- Delaware State head women's tennis coach Pavel Zinchenko has been honored by the United States Tennis Association (USTA).
The USTA's Delaware District has announced that Zinchenko is the recipient of its College Coach of the Year Award, citing his contribution to growing tennis in the First State. He has led Delaware State to MEAC Tennis Championship appearances in each of his first two seasons with the Hornets.
Zinchenko and the other USTA Delaware District award winners will be honored during the association's annual ceremony on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023, at the DuPont Country Club in Wilmington.
