MEAC to Host Bi-Weekly Basketball Coaches Video Conferences

NORFOLK, Va., Dec. 29, 2022 – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) will host a bi-weekly basketball coaches video conference beginning on Wednesday, Jan. 4 at 10 a.m.
 
The conferences will be held via Zoom and will feature both the men’s and women’s head coaches from each member institution.
 
The videoconference will continue bi-weekly through Wednesday, March 2. The head coaches from each institution will be available at the same time for a 15-minute period that will include brief statements about the previous and upcoming games and opponents. Each session will conclude with a question-and-answer session with members of the media.

About the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference
The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) is in its 52nd year of intercollegiate competition with the 2022-23 academic school year. Located in Norfolk, Va., the MEAC is made up of eight outstanding historically Black institutions across the Atlantic coastline: Coppin State University, Delaware State University, Howard University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Morgan State University, Norfolk State University, North Carolina Central University and South Carolina State University.
