Norfolk State 70, William & Mary 52
NORFOLK, Va. -- Three Norfolk State players finished in double figures as the Spartans got back into the win column on Wednesday afternoon with a 70-52 rout of William & Mary at Joseph G. Echols Memorial Hall.
Norfolk State (10-3) snapped a two-game losing streak with the victory as the Spartans led by nine at the half and pulled away in the third and fourth quarters for the win.
Deja Francis, Niya Fields and Camille Downs each led the way for NSU with 12 points. Francis added four rebounds, four assists and three blocked shots, while Fields recorded game-high seven assists, with two boards and two assists. Downs registered four assists, three boards, two steals and one block.

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- Delaware State dropped its midweek matchup to Drexel University 62-44 on Wednesday.
The Hornets were paced offensively by Savannah Brooks and Tyshonne Tollie, who finished with 12 points each.

STONY BROOK, N.Y. -- Maryland Eastern Shore battled back from a double-digit deficit a couple times and trailed by as few as six points with two minutes to go, but fell at Stoney Brook 69-59 on Wednesday afternoon.
Mahogany Lester scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds to go with an assist, a block and a pair of steals before fouling out.

Kansas State 77, Morgan State 46
MANHATTAN, Kan. -- Morgan State returned to the court Wednesday for a morning tilt against Big 12 foe Kansas State. The host Wildcats would defeat Morgan State in the first-ever meeting between the two programs, 77-46 at Bramlage Coliseum.
Morgan State was led by Charlene Shepherd, who totaled 16 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals. Sunshine McCrae finished with 14 points, three rebounds and an assist.

DURHAM, N.C. -- North Carolina Central pulled to within one possession of visiting North Carolina A&T State on four occasions in the second half of Wednesday's matinee in McDougald-McLendon Arena, but the Aggies kept making shots to hold on for an 86-79 non-conference victory.
Junior guard Kimeira Burks, the reigning MEAC Player of the Week, drained five 3-pointers for a second straight game to pace the Eagles with 21 points.
